Dr McDonald specially selected and extracted 16 compounds from these 12 indigenous plants. The purpose of these compounds is summarized in the section under
“What makes FAITH™ Drops So Unique”.
Most of the plants used are well known and have been used by the South African Indigenous people for thousands of years. Some of these plants are gaining notoriety in the Ethno-medicine/botanical world for their unique properties – some of which are currently being used for their immune boosting properties to aid in the treatment of life-threatening diseases such as cancer and HIV/Aids. Sutherlandia and Tulbaghia Violacea in particular, as recently Researchers from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town South Africa (UWC) are confident that a traditional garlic medicine could provide hope for people with cancer after discovering that the plant has properties that fight off fungal infections and cancer cells.
Research on these plants however is still on-going.
