This recipe makes at least 500ml of juice. If the whole family is not sharing in the consumption thereof, it is advisable to reduce the quantities so as not to waste. Unless well-sealed, juices should be consumed within 4 hours of preparation, prior to the activation of the breakdown enzymes of the fruit. Left over juice can be frozen as ice-lollies to be used within 3 days
1 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar (improves digestion and nutritional absorption)
1 tsp Tumeric (inhibits communication between cancer cells, anti-inflammatory)
1 tsp Cinnamon (fights cancer, fatigue, relieves gas, strengthens immune system)
1 teaspoon size fresh orange peel (citrus peel - limonene inhibits communication between cancer cells)
1 tbs of fresh parsley (iron and magnesium is vital for oxygen transportation and protection of nervous system)
½ glass borehole or spring water [NO municipal water] + tip of tsp of Fulvic Acid dissolved in it (improves cellular nutritional absorption)
½ glass fresh apple juice (malic acid in apples relaxes the laminin in the liver to enable detoxing)
1 banana (potassium and energy)
1 tsp Flaxseed oil (benefits the cardiovascular system, immune system, circulatory system, reproductive system, nervous system, as well as joints)
1 raw fresh egg (contains albumin, all amino acids, fights cachexia and wasting)
[Preparation of egg: hold egg under 61-70 degrees celcius - hot water tap - water for 5minutes before cracking to release biotin]
Useful information: If an egg that is placed in a bowl of cold water, stands up by more than a centimeter off the bowl base, it is an indication that the egg is old and should not be used.
Half a raw beetroot (cleanses the liver and encourages red blood cell production – oxygen and food carriers)
Large “pinch” of sprouts (Barley/lentils/mung bean) (live food and hydrazine sulfate for cell renewal)
1 slice of pineapple (the core especially contains cancer fighting Bromelain enzymes)
1 slice paw-paw (pips and skin contains cancer fighting enzymes Papain and melatonin, which also encourages good sleep)
1 tsp glutamine powder (an amino acid also found in parsley, eggs, beetroot, cabbage, beans, fish, spinach when you do not have the powder)
Seasonal fruits (all berries, kiwi, apples, oranges, grapes) may be added to alternate the taste and vegetables such as carrots, celery, spinach, broccoli, mint are juiced for healthy, nutritional and easily digestible “in-between” alternative juices.
Cachexic and terminal cancer patients, should have a tablespoon full of such a smoothie mix every 30 minutes to sustain life, rebuild tissue and provide energy, always containing fresh sprouts
When digestion is compromised, it is beneficial to extract just the juice from the mixture (even a siv is useful to separate the fiber from the liquid) thus putting less pressure on the digestive process until the patient is stronger
